The last task is to paint on the name FATBOY. The "Dan Brown" font has the benefit that you can still read the name correctly even though the canoe has capsized.

Building My Own Canoe
In the summer of 2009 I got back in a kayak for the first time in 25 years and loved it. Shortly after I bought a sit-on-top kayak for fishing and playing in.
Then my son suggested a canoe camping trip down the River Wye. This demanded something better than a plastic popout boat, so the idea of building and paddling my own canoe was born.
